Glamorous + Camping = Glamping.

Since I have never ever camped before, I think glamping was a very nice introduction. Glamorous camping is basically no hassle camping. There is no camping equipment or food to pack. You can just show up with your toothbrush and you're good to go.

We also participated in a tour to some of the famous sites in Ulsan.

The Taehwa Grand River was the first stop. I used to run through this park a few times during the summer. It's quite near my apartment.

This is Seonbawi. It's a cliff in the middle of the river.

The glamping area was quite nice. Everything was ready when we got there. The only problem was that we all overestimated how warm the weather was going to be. I should have packed some more socks. My feet went numb a few times if I was not in the tents. The tents were equipped with heaters and electronic blankets to keep you nice and toasty through the night.

We had Korean BBQ for dinner. There was so much meat and they kept bringing more food. There was also sausages, shrimp and sweet potatoes to grill. It was quite filling. However,  the last course was the best thing that was served that night. There was this gorgonzola cheese pizza topped with almonds and you were to dip it in honey. It was so good. 

The next day, we were on our way to see the Petroglyphs. Since the site was under construction, we did not get to see the symbols up close.

The entire weekend was quite nice and relaxing. I might go glamping again when the weather warms up a bit.
